Who owns this site
VA Shortlist is published by Outsourcing Insider, which covers the outsourcing and remote-staffing industry. Outsourcing Insider is a VA MASTERS company, owned by VA MASTERS, a managed virtual assistant agency. We're saying it up front because VA MASTERS competes with some of the services we rank.
How we keep it fair
- VA MASTERS is scored with the same published rubric as everyone else, and it has its own "what to watch" list.
- Facts about other services come from their own public pages and review profiles, with a source and a date for each one.
- VA MASTERS doesn't automatically come first. Where another service scores higher, it ranks higher.
- If we got something wrong, we fix it.
Why we built it
Choosing a VA service is hard: prices are often hidden, terms are buried, and most "best of" lists don't say how they rank. We wanted one place where the important details sit side by side and the scoring method is public.
